XRAY T2 Swiss National Champion

The last race of the 2006 Swiss Nationals was held on a very technical track in Baar. The weather was amazing and the organization by MCRC Baar was perfect. There were two categories - Expert and Amateur. This last race would determine who would be the National Champions in both categories!

The race started on Saturday with open practice, and on Sunday there were four qualification runs and three final runs. In the Expert category, Mario Rigert TQ’d with his XRAY T2; he won all qualification runs. Second was Ronny Lnenicka also with an XRAY T2. In the Amateur category, JĂ©rome Meile TQ’d with his XRAY T2.

All of the final runs in the Expert category were dominated by Mario, who won the last race of the Swiss National Championship ahead of Ronny and Philipp Huber. In the Amateur category, JĂ©rome won ahead of Thomas Nagel and Fabian Widmer. Both winners Mario and JĂ©rome, both running XRAY T2, became the Swiss National Champions in Expert and Amateur categories, respectively.
